''Better Off Alone''

Another song that was been added to my inspiring discography, is ''Better Off Alone'' by the Dutch electronic music group, Alice Deejay. Mixed with a combination of dance-pop, & eurodance , this song shot it way to the top 5 spot in 2001. With a little help from the 80s British duo, the Eurythmics, Alice Deejay was allowed to sample the bands's lyric, ''Talk To Me'' from their 1984 hit, ''Here Comes the Rain'', making ''Better Off Alone'' a yearly anthem for upcoming DJ's like me.

Gaining Talent

Basically, i lack talent at the moment of recording my own sound because i never had any real experience at with working with studio equipment or music software which i'm in the midst right now of learning. over the years while listening to many hit singles, i pretty much studied how sound effects tend to form a repetition with the lyrics of a song according to the mark of a verse and chorus forming a relationship to become a complete song. Furthermore, i know how to visualize what i'm going to do record a complete demo while at the same time learning how to physically use the music equipment being provided. So i'm one step ahead of not making a sloppy demo where's it's forgettable just like that. I have to pretend as though my project is about to be released to the world if i want it to really sound good to me. The song at the bottom ''Starry Eyed Surprise'' by Paul Oakenfold was just one of many songs that gave me the desire to record music.

How was my Theme Influenced?

My theme ''1000 tunes'' basically came from my fascination with the history and art of many popular songs that have shaped pop culture and defined many generations of upcoming musicians whether it were singers, producers, or any other individuals that had an affiliation with the music business. The way mainstream songs have changed over the course of the last five decades since the 1960s, is an interest i will be sharing in future posts.

1000 Tunes

I chose a music theme for my blog to talk about the artists and their songs that have influenced me to have a desire to be a part of the mainstream music world as a recording producer.
